Frozen – Live at the Hyperion, Now in RideMax

Frozen, Live at the Hyperion is now supported in RideMax. And now YOU know. 🙂

Just a quick update today to let you know that you’ll find the new, lengthily-titled “Frozen — Live at the Hyperion” stage show listed in RideMax for Disney California Adventure, now that Disney has finally released some show times. It’s listed in RideMax for plans beginning May 27th, and running through June 9th, which is the last date Disney has seen fit to release show times so far.

Note that we’ve had to make some initial guesstimates in RideMax as to how early you’ll need to arrive to see this. We should be able to adjust these as time goes on if it seems warranted.

It’s a bit curious that so far, at least, Disney is only scheduling this to run three times daily. I’d expect crowds to be fairly heavy initially, at least until the annual passholders have had a chance to check it out. Hopefully they’ll schedule more shows if the crowds warrant, but I’m not counting on it.

#ThanksShanghai for this one.  🙂

  1. With Hyperion theater show only 3 times in a day what is your recommendation for DCA MM?? The fastpass for Hyperion theater is backed up during MM with people waiting till rope drop because the fastpass aren’t available till after regular hours. Should we go to radiator springs at mm and skip toy story and screamin, and go to the fastpass for Hyperion?

  2. Lisa, I can’t imagine that the group lining up for FP tickets during Extra Magic Hours for the Frozen show would exhaust the complete supply of FP tickets for the day. I think I’d go ahead and do the three rides you suggest before worrying about getting the FP tickets for Frozen.

And Amie, what date are you looking at? Disney has only released show times through June 9th, so if you’re trying to create a RideMax plan after the 9th, you won’t see it listed — yet. Hopefully Disney will be releasing a new batch of show times soon. I’m also keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll also run more than three shows per day after the 9th, but who knows?

I’m staying tuned on this as well!
